The HSC Rep program is great challenge for players in a competitive environment, while benefiting from the exercise and fun.  Be ready to expand your soccer skills!

Program Details

The Huntsville Strikers program is a travel league within the Huronia District Soccer League.

Try-outs typically occur late Winter.  Coaches use various criteria when making teams, with all players being included in younger age groups.

Rep teams  typically have 2 practices a week, plus a game, commencing May and ending in August/September.  U12 and lower age groups are required to play in House League in addition to the Rep team.

During the winter months, teams have a choice to continue practices once a week.

Player Fees

U8 - $190 + House League Fees

U9 & U10 - $190 + House League Fees

U11 & U12 - $210 + House League Fees

U13 to U18 Recreational - $340

U13 to U18 Competitive - $380

The HSC Rep program strives to provide an opportunity for youth in Huntsville and surrounding areas to play soccer at a more competitive level.  It is a program intended for those players who show an affinity for the game, and a desire to train for and play at a more competitive level commensurate with their ability, potential, and interest, by emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork and character development.

As a small community we are limited in our ability to field all ages of both genders each year.  Team availability is determined by interest by players, coach availability, and number of other teams in the HDSL.  To find out if there is a team for your age group, please contact our Administrator.

This program aims to keep skills and team development tuned during the winter months.  Please note, participation in indoor does guarantee a spot on the team the following outdoor season, and participation is not required to be on next years team however it is helpful.  Contact your coach for more details, or Club Administrator if you are not already on a team.

To register for the HSC Rep Program, you must be invited by a team coach.  If you are new to the Club, please contact us to find out about the Try-Out process.  A great way to start is to join the Rep Indoor program first and prepare for the following season.

Kids playing indoor soccer

Indoor soccer is a great chance for kids to keep active while playing the game we love, even during winter months.  The focus is fun, fun, fun.

Program Details

This co-ed program has 2 divisions:

Ages 4 to 8 - 6pm

Ages 9 to 12 - 7pm

(Based on your child's age as of Jan 1).

Programs start early January each year, and carry on for 8 weeks.  When there is a 'snow day' at school, there is no soccer program. The Club makes every effort to make up for cancelled sessions.

All players are provided a HSC t-shirt if registered before deadline.  Players to bring shorts or sport pants, shin guards, water bottle and clean indoor soccer shoes/running shoes.

T-shirt sizing chart:

XS = W14" x L18"

S = W16" x L20.5"

M = W17" x L22"

L = W18" x L23.5"

XL = W19" x L25"

The HSC Indoor program is focused on having fun.  For this reason we are always looking for parents, older siblings, and other community members to help us.  Never coached before?  Don't play soccer?  No worries, we have experienced coaches guiding the program.  Also, this is a great way for high school students to get some volunteer hours for high school credit.

Special events

Each summer, the week following the end of House League soccer, the HSC organizes a week long day camp.  Since 2017 Challenger Sports has provided a fabulous camp for our youth using international camp leaders.

Camp in 2021 runs from Monday August 2nd to Friday August 6th.

To celebrate the game and to provide our House League players an opportunity to have a festival style tournament, each team has the opportunity to play on the Saturday of the final week of the House League program.  Each participants also receives food and an award, along with the chance to thank their coaches.

The HSC understands that some participants will require financial assistance to participate.  Please contact the Children's Foundation of Muskoka, or email our administrator to find out more.

Known for years as the Muskoka Cottage Classic, youth are provided a fun and challenging weekend in cottage country.

Currently no tournaments are scheduled.

Carlos Burmeister was a true soccer fan, playing and coaching with lots of skill and passion for our Club.  In response to his early passing, his family and friends have established the Foundation following Carlo's belief that 'every kid needs a soccer ball'.  Find out more.
